METROPOLY CHALLENGE – AMSTERDAM TREASURE HUNT

Amsterdam is uniquely exciting, stylish, vibrant and a superb city in Europe in which to hold Treasure hunts, scavenger hunts and team building activities.

As one of Europe’s key cities there is of course an Amsterdam version of board game ‘Monopoly’ and our Amsterdam Metropoly treasure hunt is a variation on that idea – the difference here being that you are playing for real!

Amsterdam is compact, easy to navigate and you can cover literally the whole city on foot or bicycle (the locally preferred mode of transport) in a day or half day.

In an Amsterdam Metropoly treasure Hunt – teams will have to collect properties by making their way to key locations around the city and photographing their teams in situ at sites including:

  • Prinsengracht
  • Rijks Museum
  • The Red Light District
  • Kalverstraat
  • Dam Square
  • Leidseplein
  • Vondelpark
  • The main station
  • Ann Franks’s house

……and many others.

Once we have briefed the teams then their first job is to work out their route around the city – how to collect the most ‘properties’ and where the clues are located. There always more to do than the time allow so planning and teamwork are key.

Teams will finish at a pre disclosed bar where they will hand in their equipment bags and answers and enjoy a refreshing beer(or three) whilst their results are marked.
